Mary Ann is a Broadway Legend who started her career at age 17 in The Las Vegas Follies. She toured the world with the Follies and ended up in Paris to film The Follies for a television special. Then she went off to New York to perform on Broadway!
Her Broadway credits include: The Visit, Curtains, Contact, Seussical, Fosse, Chicago, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Jerome Robbins Broadway, Song and Dance, Goodbye Girl, Starlight Express, Carrie, and Promises. Off Broadway, she has danced in The New Girl in Town and Damn Yankees. She was a part of the Molloy College Christmas Show, the Long Island Film Festival and the Peridance Certificate Program. She was also a Grand Prix Finalist!
Her film credits include The Oscar Award-winning film Chicago, Portrait of a Showgirl, The Muppets, Dancing on the Edge, The In-Crowd and Rock of Ages with Tom Cruise. Mary Ann has served on the faculty at Broadway Dance Center in New York, Peridance Capezio Center, Destination Broadway, and many colleges and universities — including Julliard. She has reinvented herself and has began a choreography career with credits like SYTYCD, the Bette Midler Tour and her own production alongside Lisa Gaida at Harbor Lights Theater Company — Gypsy.
Mary has also performed in 8 NYC Encores Productions; numerous regional theaters, national tours, films, TV and commercials. She was also featured in a PBS Special, Working Dancers. She has traveled across the USA to teach for the Showstopper National Dance Convention Tour. Most recently, she was featured on the July 2015 cover of Inside Dance magazine! She has had an amazing 40 year career that has inspired dancers… and she’s just getting started!
